Call to Order
Lynda Boulter called the meeting to order in the name of Jesus Christ, the one and only Head of the Church. The opening prayer followed.
Minutes
Ann McDougall made a motion of acceptance for the minutes which was seconded by Linda Brown. Carried.
Business arising
from the minutes
1) The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities will be an ongoing issue until 2010 when it comes into effect.
2) Lynda Boulter will set up a routine with Joyce Casement regarding the heat in the sanctuary and the handicapped signage.
3) The first Winter Weekend Breakfast served 42 people. We had a great crew working and all went smoothly. We are hoping for an even larger crowd for the next one.
4) Ann McDougall will e-mail Don Coleman regarding payment of $30.00 to Elaine St. John for expenses in labeling the kitchen.
Treasurers Report
Don Coleman went over in detail his report which will be the Financial Report for the AGM in February. Don moved a motion for acceptance, which was seconded by Denny Buchanan. Motion carried.
Don also had written an excellent thank you letter to go out to members of the congregation, thanking them for their wonderful support this year. Thank you, Don!

Correspondence
1) Lynda Boulter received a card from “Grandmothers by the Lake” thanking us for the use of our hall for their meeting in December. Stewards waived the fee for this event.
2) Lynda Boulter got an e-mail from Jennifer Bennett of the M and P Committee detailing Joyce Casement’s concerns regarding her job as Caretaker. Joyce will keep a log and would like to get feedback as to how she is doing. At our joint meeting with Session, it was suggested she meet with the M and P Committee.
New Business
1) Lynda Boulter reported that she bought a different kind of detergent for the dishwasher. It was more expensive ($88.00 for two containers) but Lynda and Doug Boulter will monitor it to see how effective it is.
2) Lynda Boulter reminded Linda Brown that she is the Stewards representative for the Nominating committee.
3) Linda Brown gave an up-date on the “Guess who’s coming to Dinner” evening, and asked for more hosts and guests. She also requested items for the up-coming Newsletter.
Calendar Update
1) Next Official Board meeting is Monday, January 26, 2009, at Trinity. 7PM
2) The Annual meeting will be held on February 15, 2009, at 12 noon . Bring a brown bag lunch.
