only Head of the Church, at 7:00 p.m.

MINUTES OF
LAST MEETING NOVEMBER 4TH, 2008:
Barb Joyce/Darlene Nicol moved the adoption of the
minutes as printed and
circulated. Carried
BUSINESS
ARISING FROM MINUTES:
a) Snow Shovelling – Joyce Casement has
informed Trinity that she no
longer is
able to do snow shoveling. Session and Stewards discussed
this, and
after reading Joyce’s contract as Caretaker-Manager, she
should be
the one to higher a person, that she can depend on to do the
snow
shoveling, as needed. This person’s time and pay, would be paid
by
Trinity.
b) Security of the Church – again, we are
finding that doors are being
left
unlocked, and the Fireplace left on. We, as well as the groups
that use
our facilities need to be more alert to this problem, and it
was
decided to unplug the Fireplace, as it doesn’t need to be used.
CORRESPONDENCE:
WORSHIP AND
SACRAMENT:
a) Minister’s Report – since last meeting
Lynda Price, made 5 visits; 6
meetings;
attended weekly study group; met with 3 couples re weddings;
attended
one wake.
Working

- Christmas Hampers and Angel Gifts – (16 teens, ? hampers)
- Advent and Christmas Services
- Dec. 7 – Hanging of the Greens – (Elfleda
ring bell; Choir

lights and put star/angel on tree;
Session Members bring poinsettias to
front of church)
- Dec. 14 – White Gift Sunday

PASTORAL CARE:
a) Christmas Cards – Session Members will
send cards to people on their
congregational list.
b) Singing in Seniors Homes – will be
coordinated and take place.

EDUCATION:
OUTREACH:
Christmas Hampers – will be packed at Trinity either December
22nd or 23rd,
which ever day Marni Pedersen and Andy and Jane
Adamson decide.
NEW BUSINESS:
a) Decorating the Church – Millie Cuthill,
Darlene Nicol, Gord Ramer and
Barb Joyce
will decorate at 9:30 a.m. Saturday,
December 6th, 2008.
(Barb will
order and pickup Poinsettias by Fri. Dec. 5th)
b) Christmas Eve Communion – Elfleda – bread
& wafers; Barb - Juice
