Harrowsmith-Verona Pastoral Charge is a single point pastoral charge within the Eastern Ontario Outaouais Regional Council of the United Church of Canada.

Where to find us

Trinity United Church is situated in the centre of the village of Verona. Verona is about 40 kilometres north of Kingston Ontario on the southern edge of the Canadian Shield. Trinity serves the western half of the Township of South Frontenac, including the villages of Sydenham, Harrowsmith, Hartington, Bellrock, Godfrey and Verona.

You are welcome to join us for our regular worship services on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am.

A brief history

Harrowsmith-Verona Pastoral Charge was created in 1968 with the amalgamation of the Harrowsmith Pastoral Charge, consisting of St. Paul's United Church, Hartington United Church, Holleford United Church, and Murvale United Church as well as the Verona Pastoral Charge consisting of Verona United Church, Bellrock United Church and Godfrey United Church.

The churches in Hartington, Holleford, Murvale, Godfrey and Bellrock were closed, leaving Trinity and St. Paul's churches to serve the Harrowsmith-Verona area.

On June 30, 2016, St. Paul’s closed its doors and the congregation amalgamated with Trinity United Church.
